Hot on the heels of the Department for Work and Pensions European Social Fund success in Dorset, Leicestershire, Wiltshire and the North East, Working Links has just been awarded contracts to deliver support programmes in the D2N2 (Derby, Derbyshire, Nottingham and Nottinghamshire) and Northamptonshire regions.
Working Links will be working with its range of partners, including voluntary and public sector organisations, to deliver the programmes.
Working Links’ chief executive Phil Andrew said: “We’ve supported more than 350,000 people into work over the last 16 years. These new programmes will allow us to build on this and support even more people to maximise their potential.
“With our on-the-ground delivery team and strong network of community-based providers, we’re ready to help people overcome their often complex and multiple barriers to employment and provide them with the skills and confidence they need to move closer to finding and keeping a job.”
